Print pilots features
Print Pilots contains several features that enable an efficient print ordering process. Below, you will find a list of some of the key features of Print Pilots.

Order wizard w. real-time pricing
Create a print order for a Magazine and see the price updates as you type in information about page count, quantity (circulation) and, if needed, Pantone colours and varnish on the cover. Most of the information about the magazine is prefilled for a quicker and easier order process.

Manage delivery
The magazines are printed by vetted suppliers in the Nordics and Eastern and Middle Europe and must be transported to multiple delivery addresses for distribution in the key markets. Print Pilots have made it easy to add multiple delivery addresses for magazines and variants needed for local markets or target groups. Print pilots will also ensure that transportation information is correct and complies with local legislation when orders are distributed across borders.

Create variants of your magazine.
Perhaps you want an advertisement flyer for a subscription offer in your magazine – but only for the magazines sold in retail stores and not those sent to existing subscribers. Or, you want a product sample only to be included for a specific region. Print pilots allow you to make variants of your magazines.

Product packaging
Poly wrapping is often used if a magazine has an extra free magazine as part of the publication – or if a magazine needs to look extra good on the shelfs in the stores. Or perhaps a “Belly band” is needed. The Product wizard in Print pilots will help you add product packaging to your magazine and give you the option to add extra magazines or advertisement brochures etc. in or to the product packaging.

Add items to your Magazine
We all know the lotion samples glued in, in fashion magazines, the loose inserted subscription flyer – or the small brochure with knitting recipes on a few of the weekly magazines. This is called “Items” in Print pilots and the ‘Item wizard’ will help you figure out what items you can place where in the different magazines.

Deadlines and notifications
All magazines produced in Print Pilots follow a strict production. To reach the publication date, many deadlines must be met. Print pilots will keep track of the deadlines based on how the magazine is produced and send notification e-mails to the people in responsible for keeping the deadlines.
